Morning Sun

Haiku is one of my favourite forms of poetry – the simplicity and the beauty of sharing thoughts – almost like a snapshot image, all contained in one take.

However, not all writing can be brief, nor does it need to be. For me, proofreading and editing is about supporting you in sharing what you need and want to say. A letter, an essay, poems or your first experimental novel. Perhaps you’re starting a business and want to discover the best way to let people know how your business can benefit them. The possibilities are endless and the purpose of Amethist.Road is to encourage communication and community through writing in all forms.

Haiku:
Morning sun -
The purple petals,
Four have fallen

“I have the right ideas, but my words are too... complicated. I need to simplify them, so that people won't get lost in the dark when they see and hear them. I want them to shine like beacons of light in a world of overly complicated darkness. One day I will find the right words, and they will be simple.”

“Nothing behind me, everything ahead of me, as is ever so on the road.”
